Famke Janssen and Alexandra Shipp have both been involved in the live-action X-Men franchise. Janssen starred as Jean Grey/Phoenix/Dark Phoenix in X-Men (2000), X2: X-Men United (2003), X-Men: The Last Stand (2006), The Wolverine (2013), and X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014). Shipp starred as Ororo Munroe/Storm in X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) and X-Men: Dark Phoenix (2019). Even though they have been involved in the franchise, they haven’t been in a movie together before this.
